Zbigniew Klejment
President. A lawyer, graduated from Warsaw University. In the years 1989-1990 he worked as an inspector in the Ministry of Justice. Between 1990 and 2003 he was a member of Legionowo Municipal Council. In 1992 he opened a notary firm. In the years 1991 he presided over the Notary Chamber in Warsaw, and in the period 2003-2006 he was the President of the National Notary Council.
Jerzy Borowczak
He was an active member of the Free Trade Unions of the Coast. In 1980, together with Bodgan Bosursewicz, Bodgan Felski and Ludwik Prądzyński, he initiated a strike in the Gdańsk Shipyard. Since that time he has been a close collaborator of Lech Wałęsa. In 2000 he was elected an MP (3rd Term of Sejm). Since 2002 he is the director of the Solidarity Centre Foundation. In 2006 he was distinguished with the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
Andrzej Milczanowski
Lawery, graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In the 1970s he collaborated with the Workers Defence Committee, and since 1980 - with NSZZ Solidarność. In the second half of the 1980s he was active in secret Solidarity movement. In 1988 he took part in strike committees in Szczecin enterprises. In December 1988 he received a prize from Paul Lauritzen foundation from Copenhagen, the aim of which is the promotion of human right activists. As a representative of the Solidarity and opposition side, he took part in the Round Table talks in a group responsible for reforming the law and judiciary. He was the head of UOP (National Security Bureau) between Aug 1990 and Jan 1992 and between June and July 1992. In July 1992 he was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs, and resigned in December 1995. Currently Andrzej Milczanowski is a notary in Szczecin.
Konstanty Miodowicz
Ethnographer, graduate of Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He was a democratic opposition activists, belonged to the Independent Students' Association (NZS), and founded a pacifist Freedom and Peace Movement. In the years 1990-1996 he worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Security Bureau, where, as the head of counter-intelligence (in the rank of colonel), he took part in building Polish secret service. In 1995 he was distinguished with a Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. In 1997 he was elected as an MP from the list of Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS). In the Parliament, he was a member of Administration and Internal Affairs Committee, and Secret Services Committee. In July 2004 he was appointed to the investigation committee for the so-called Orlengate scandal.
Roman Malinowski
Graduated from the Agricultural Faculty of the Main School of Planning and Statistics in 1956. In 1972 he received the Ph.D. in economics in the Academy of Social Sciences at Central Committee of Polish United Worker's Party. Between 1971 and 1973 - President of the Provincial National Council Presidium in Łódź. Deputy Prime Minister between 1980 and 1985. April to October 1980 - Minister of Food Industry and Purchasing. President of NK ZSL in the years 1981-1989, then a member of Polish People's Party (PSL). Member of Parliament in the People's Republic of Poland's Parliament 7th, 8th and 9th term (1976 to 1989). The Speaker of Sejm during 9th Term (1985-1989). Member of PRON Committee between 1983-1987. President of Polish-Soviet Friendship Association between 1987 and 1991. Unitiator of the Conference of the Presidents of Parliaments of Europe, US and Canada - signatories of OECD in Warsaw in 1998. One of the creators of Solidarność, ZSL and SD coalition in the contractual Sejm in 1989. In 2005 promoted by PSL for the honorary president of Sejm's meetings for 25th anniversary of Solidarność. Distinguished, among others, with the 1st Class Order of the Standard of Labour, Knight's Cross and Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
Jacek Kurczewski
Graduated from the Philosophy and Sociology Departament in Warsaw University, and then obtained Ph.D. title and habilitation. In 1995 he received the title of Professor of Humanities. He heads the Sociology of Customs and Law Cathedra in Applied Social Sciences Institute in Warsaw University. During the times of People's Republic of Poland he was a democratic opposition activist, and advisor to Solidarność. He took part in Round Table talks, in the years 1989-1991 he was a member of the State Tribunal. between 1991 and 1993 he was a Member of Parliament from the Liberal Democratic Congress party. He was appointed deputy speaker of the Lower House (Sejm). He cooperates with Stefan Batory Foundation and is a member of the Helsinki Committee. Author of the Civil Service Code of Ethics.
Stefan Jurczak
In 1980, he joined Solidarność, and was one of the leader sof the trade union in Lenin Ironworks and in the Małopolska region. During the martial law he was interned for a year - between 13 December 1981 and 20 December 1982. After release, he was active in the secret top authorities of NSZZ "Solidarność". Between the years 1991-2001 he held the mandate of Senator of 2nd and 3rd Term Parliament from NSZZ "Solidarność" and senator of the 4th Term from Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS), elected from the Krakowskie Province. Between 1998 and 2002, he was a member of Sejmik (Local Parliament) in Małopolskie Province. Since 2007 he is the President of Democracy Movement and a member of a Civic Committee for Restoration of Cracow's Historical Monuments and Sites.
Jan Król
Alumnus of the Academy of Economy. Until 1981 he was a member and employee of Pax Association, later he worked in economic enterprises. Between 1989 and 2001 he was a Member of Parliament during 10th Term from Civic Committee, 1st and 2nd term from the Democratic Union and 3rd Term from the Freedom Union, representing Słupsk region. Until 2005 he was a member of the board of the Local Democracy Development Foundation.

Piotr Gulczynski
President of the Board of Executives. Bachelor of arts in political sciences, international relations and NGO management specialist. During his studies at Warsaw University, a member of student associations, one of the founders and President of Academic Section of Euro-Atlantic Association, in 1996 -1997 Personal Assistant of Prof. Władysław Bartoszewski, coworker of Polish Foundation of Robert Shuman, since 1997 in the Lech Wałęsa lnstitute Foundation, first as lnternational Cooperation Coordinator, from 2000 President of the Executive Board, from 2006 member of lnternational Secretariat of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Summit in Rome, from 2007 member of the Board of Directors of Latin-American lnstitute in Respekt lnstitute in Prague.
In 2010 he was appointed by the President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski to Advisory and Consultation Team of National Security Strategic Review.
